PROBLEMS OF AL-SHARF IMPLEMENTATION IN SHARIA BANKING (STUDY LITERATURE)

This study aims to analyze the problems that occur in implementation of Sharf contract Indonesian Islamic banking, this research method is a descriptive qualitative design with Literature Review or literature review. The results are currency exchange allowed when if it can be proven there no elements gharar, maisir, usury and juhala, Al-sarf which Sharia only Spot Transactions while Forward Swap unlawful, There Al -Sharf such as should delay payment, difficult identify customer's purpose for exchanging currency, known transaction not carried out speculation (chance) because need precaution (savings). And lack customer literacy knowing how calculate determine rate, rate itself, so Al-Sharf transactions cause gharar understood by both parties transaction.
